Flight School (FlygS) is looking for Flight Instructors

FlygS trains pilots and other crew members for the Air Combat Forces' flying units.

Workplace

FlygS is located at the Linköping garrison, but is part of the Air Force School (LSS), which is the Air Force's joint competence center for education and development. The head of the Air Combat School is located at the Uppsala garrison.

FlygS is also responsible for personnel undergoing flight training conducted in Ljungbyhed, Germany, the USA, and Italy.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of FlygS/1st Division (1.Div), where you report to the head of 1.Div and will primarily work with basic flight training (GFU). You will train tomorrow's pilots within the Swedish Air Force, where students learn to fly the new training aircraft SK 40.

Qualifications

• Trained pilot within the Swedish Air Force
• Completed and approved flight instructor training (FLU)
• Flight experience on SK40 (Grob 120tp)
• Military basic training

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to work both in teams and independently and who can take their own initiative. You are pedagogical and have an easy time making new contacts, both within and outside your own organization.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
